KUALA LUMPUR The owners of Premier League champions Manchester City are eyeing a stake in a Malaysian team to mount up to their portfolio of clubs, a Malaysian sports credited revealed yesterday.Ferran Soriano, chief presidency bureaucrat of the City Football bureau (CFG), bankrolled by Sheikh Mansour of the Abu Dhabi royal family, raised the possibility as soon as he met Sports Minister Syed Saddiq in Kuala Lumpur upon Thursday.CFG already own or have stakes in Major League Soccer bureau other York City, A-League team Melbourne City, J-League side Yokohama F Marinos, Uruguay's Atletico Torque, recently-relegated Spanish team Girona and Chinese side Sichuan Jiuniu, as capably as City, who are fresh off winning an unprecedented domestic treble in England.
